The Story

Basically, the story is about a black man by the name of Al Simmons, who's human abilities exceeds in the weaponry and military section. Al Simmons abilities promoted him to work with one of the elite teams in the government agencies after he saved the President's life from being assassinated. Simmons defies his boss after learning the truth of his bosses evil intentions. Simmons' boss didn't like this and plotted to kill Simmons. Simmons was killed by 2 of his team members using laser guns. His face was burnt be on recognition.

Not only the agencies was interested in his abilities but hell was also. Hell's ruler Malebolgia has built an army of spawns made from murders, cheats and thieves for centuries. The only thing that Malebolgia needs is a strong, powerful spawn to leads his army to the gates of heaven and tear it down. When a person dies, either heaven or hell recuits him/her to their army. Unfortunately, hell got Simmons, he sold his soul to Malebolgia to see his love, Wanda, again and take revenge of the people who killed him. As a result, Simmons was reborn from hell as Spawn, his memory erased but he has extraordinary powers that he didn't even know.

Now that he is Spawn, he has flash backs which gives him clues to his past life. On Spawns endless journey, he learns that if his power dies, he will return to Malebolgia as his servant. With the help friends and foes, his learns of his powers and how to break the contract with the devil.
